How It All Started
Growing up, Mat McLeod had an interest in nature and ponds. As a teenager, he started working in the landscaping industry and quickly discovered he loved not only working with his hands, but also the earth. In 2004, he decided to combine his landscaping experience with his love for nature. San Diego Ponds was born!
Building water features is more than just work for Mat. He has a passion and genuine interest that’s reflected in the koi ponds, waterfalls and eco ponds he creates.
